Hannah McGinnis is passionate about encouraging those at the intersection of faith and cancer. She grew up in Dallas, Texas, with her parents and two sisters, and she attended Wheaton College. While a senior at Wheaton, Hannah was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, launching her into a strange new world of cancer as a young adult. She finished chemotherapy four days after graduation and then moved out to Honolulu to teach high school English before returning to Wheaton to earn a master’s degree in Christian Formation and Ministry with a Bible, Theology, and Ministry concentration.

Missing the sun, warm weather, and ocean, Hannah moved out to San Diego after grad school, where she is currently teaching high school English once again. She loves running along the ocean, making the most of her Disneyland annual pass, and being able to connect with other young adult cancer survivors and advocates on the West Coast.
